God never intended for us to “do discipleship” alone. A core component of Christianity and of a healthy spiritual life is the connection and sharing of life with other believers. One way that we can do this is by joining and/or starting a “spiritual formation group”. This is simply a small group of people ( recommended 2 – 8 ) that meet together on a regular basis to share their lives and to encourage one another in their journeys in Christ. There are a variety of things that a group can do and study together, but the basic premise is to share life and encourage one another’s spiritual growth. It really is quite simple, but has the potential to be life changing!
