Growth for the Soul – class notes

Does your mind wander when you pray? Is your life full of noise and busyness? Can you remember the last time you were alone with God? Does joy overflow in your life or do you find it difficult to even crack a smile? Do the Scriptures get through you or do you just try to get through the Scriptures? Well, you are not alone!

Growing something is a gentle process that requires time, energy, and special attention. Come and learn some key tools for soul growth that you can practice in the midst of everyday life.

In this interactive hands-on class, we will learn the time honored practices of prayer, silence, solitude, slowing, meditation on Scripture, and celebration and how to use these tools for our spiritual growth.

This class will meet every Sunday morning until December 31st at Calvary Assembly of God in room 206 at 9:45 am.

In addition, each week the class notes will be posted here along with links to related resources. So, if you can’t make the class, check in here everyweek to learn and grow with us.
