Do you like to read?

Want to read and discuss different books on spiritual formation & discipleship?

Starting this month (July) we are going to launch the "faith journey book club". Every other month, we’ll read and discuss a selected book. Discussions will be a mix of on-line and in-person. If you’d like to participate all you’ve got to do is purchase the book, read it, and discuss!

Our book for July / August is Metamorpha: Jesus as a Way of Life

Metamorpha: Jesus as a Way of Life

You can also find a discussion guide at the book’s website

Discussions will begin soon, so stay tuned!

I would love to join the book club - found your site through looking for any blogs, chats or discussion groups on Richard Foster. Is it going to be online - I’m in alaska, but looking for like-minded groups and people.

Ordered the book from Amazon and it should be here within the week. Still really interested.

    Yoby,
Glad that you’ve found the site and that you are interested in participating in the book club. It’s exciting to be connected to a fellow believer from across the country! The discussions will be online with a few in-person discussions, so you won’t miss much. When your book comes in, start reading and keep your eye out here for the first round of discussion coming soon. If you haven’t subscribed already you can do so either with RSS or email so that you don’t miss a thing! Looking forward to growing and learning together!

Please, please, everyone - check out the discussion guides, the bookclub website, and Metamorpha.com, and if you have friends in other towns, states and countries, get them involved, too.

they have community forums and blogging maps for the questions in the books, so it a great idea - and one of the forums asks how they can get the word out, so here is my contribution.

Thanks, would love to hear from others. Yoby
