Answered Prayer

At the close of Psalm 13 David writes (from The Message translation)

I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms

I’m celebrating your rescue.

A Goofy Movie movie I’m singing at the top of my lungs,

I’m so full of answered prayers.

This is a great passage to meditate on and think about the answered prayers in our own lives. Take some time and think back on your life and how God came to your rescue and how He answered your prayers. Try writing it out and as you do give thanks to God (“sing at the top of your lungs” even!). Also, I invite you to share some of the answered prayers in the comments section below. Lastly, if you have some unanswered prayers share those also so others can prayer with you, and be assured by God’s faithfulness in the past that He remains faithful today and forever

One Response to Answered Prayer

  1. Monica says:

I teach at Delaware State University and was given 1 reading course with 4 classes to teach. It turns out I only had 4 students in my fourth reading class, which made it too small. They told me to cancel it if I didn’t get up to at least 10 students total in the class. At choir practice I asked them to pray for a miracle so I could keep the class going…God moved the hearts of 7 of my students from my other 3 classes to move to the small one. I now have 11 students in that class!!! Praise the Lord!!! He never fails us!
