Join us at the Alpha Course as we explore what Christianity has to say about the meaning of life.

The Alpha Course is an 11 week practical introduction to Christianity. Each weekly session is centered around a meal, a talk and small group discussion. The Alpha Course is relaxed, friendly, and fun and everyone is welcome.

The topics include the following:

Who is Jesus and Why did He die?
How can I be sure of my faith?
How and why to read the Bible.
How and why to pray.
How does God guide us?
The Holy Spirit: Who He is, What He does, and How we are filled.
How to resist evil.
How and why to tell others.
Healing.
The Church.

If you are a new Christian and would like to get your faith started out on the right foot than Alpha is for you! If you aren’t a Christian but would like to explore Christianity in a non-threatening environment than Alpha is for you too!

The Next Alpha Course at Calvary will begin in Sept. 8, 2008.
